- 1Understand the distinction. A PDF in email is not an e-invoice. An e-invoice is a structured format (UBL or Peppol BIS), machine-readable.
- 2Check your accounting tool. Exact, AFAS, Twinfield, Moneybird, e-Boekhouden, Yuki all have Peppol links or UBL export.
- 3Connect to the Peppol network via an access point. Many accounting tools include this; otherwise pick a separate access-point provider.
- 4Test first with a receiving customer or a test endpoint at your access point. Format errors on a real invoice waste days.
- 5Plan your inbound flow as well. Not only send, but receive and post automatically.
